Its history:
This cuvée is called « Le Merle » (blackbird in English) in reference of a plot of our vineyard.
The vineyard :
· Middle-ages : 10 years old
· Average yield : 50 hl / ha
· Schistous soil
The vinification :
· Traditional vinification for reds
· Direct press for rosés and whites
Technical elements :
· Bordelaise bottle
· 75 cl – Case of 6 bottles/50 cl – Case of 12 bottles
37,5 cl – Case of 12 bottles/ MG – Case of 3 bottles
Grape variety: Syrah (50 %)
Carignan (30%)
Grenache (10 %)
Cabernet (10 %)
Tasting notes :
Nice aromas of red fruits.
Supple mouth with round tannins.
It’s a pleasant wine very fruity that you can appreciate at any moment.
To drink with: Apéritif, grilled meats or cheese.
